Our Story

Kal was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and has made Canada her home for the last 17 years. Having belonged to two vastly different and unique cultures, she has experienced both sides of the coin - an experience that has left her with a lasting appreciation and interest for diversity, cultural exchange and stories. This is the driving force behind Addis Accent.

Addis Accent is a platform dedicated to sharing powerful stories from diverse cultures and communities around the world. Through meaningful conversations, we explore culture, travel, business, and real-life experiences that inspire connection and understanding.

Our mission is to give a voice to unique perspectives and bring people together through storytelling. 

Each episode highlights individuals, ideas, and experiences that reflect the richness of our global community.
